Weary of today’s overused ‘Tuscan’ style architecture, this sophisticated Toronto couple selected an older home in a superb, gated golf course community. Lindy Thomas Interiors was awarded the interior design as well as the remodeling of the baths, kitchen-to-dining room layout and bedrooms.

Result: The fresh, elegant interior is exceptionally entertainment-friendly. Lindy Thomas Interiors improved access from the kitchen to the dining room with large beautiful openings from the halls to the dining room and added a new door for accessible food service.

The master bath originally housed an enormous tub, covering over a third of the floor space. Lindy Thomas completely redesigned the space, removing the tub and adding functionality and beauty.

The interior is designed around the client’s love of English antiques. Beautiful golden neutrals adorn the living room, dining room and study. Each individual bedroom is designed with it's own distinct personality and color palette with green for the master, periwinkle for the daughter and cinnamon and chocolate for the son.

The Design Process: This Naples home, with its Sisal rugs, pale faux walls, soft, delicate draperies and hardwood floors, is classic elegance in design and detail, just as the client desired.
